Use reward-based training first. Begin at the lowest setting and increase only if needed. Do not leave the collar on for more than 10 hours per day. Check skin contact regularly, keep the device away from children, and consult a qualified trainer or veterinarian before using static stimulation—especially with fearful, reactive, aggressive, very young, elderly or medically vulnerable dogs.
